Acupuncture in Long Beach, CA

Better Health Starts Here!

My goal is to help you achieve optimum health and wellness. Acupuncture evolved over thousands of years and is one of the world’s oldest medical modalities. Acupuncture is used to prevent and treat disease, relieve pain, balance mood, enhance athletic performance, increase fertility, and improve overall health and wellness.

Acupuncture is a safe, effective, chemical-free way to
promote your body’s self-healing abilities.

Research has shown that acupuncture is a safe and effective way to promote the body’s remarkable self-healing abilities. An acupuncture treatment involves the insertion and manipulation of thin needles at specific points on the body. Most patients find the sensations produced by acupuncture treatment to be deeply relaxing both mentally and physically.

Many years ago, I was involved in a car accident. I sustained injuries to my back and neck. I suffered from pain, stiffness, and decreased range of motion. My doctors prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxers. I had physical therapy and chiropractic care, but I wasn’t getting better. Finally, a friend suggested I see an acupuncturist. In desperation I took that suggestion and that was what made the difference for me. My level of pain decreased and my range of motion improved. I felt so much better. I was so impressed that I decided to study acupuncture and Asian medicine and share with others what acupuncture can do to improve their health.

The goal is simple but powerful: warm the body, stimulate circulation, and support the natural flow of energy, often referred to as qi,

When Your Next Meal is Part of the Treatment Plan

For many chronic health issues, everyday exposures matter most. Food isn’t only fuel. It’s raw material, signaling molecules, and a daily set of “instructions” your body reads repeatedly.

The idea of food as medicine isn’t new. It shows up in traditional healing systems, in public health, and increasingly in modern clinical research. The most useful way to think about

Cupping + Acupuncture: More Than the Sum of its Parts

Do any of these scenarios sound like your life: a stubborn knot between the shoulder blades, a low-back flare that keeps returning, or a neck that feels “stuck” after long hours at a desk? Acupuncture needles can calm the nervous system and change pain signaling and cupping can mechanically decompress tight tissue and improve local circulation. Used together thoughtfully and
